Monica Rodriguez is the former President and CEO of the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States (SIECUS). In this role, she worked closely with staff, the board of directors, funders, and colleagues to advance sexual health and well-being for all people. During her tenure, Ms. Rodriguez set the vision for the organization, served as the primary spokesperson to the press and public, and directed all programmatic efforts. Over more than 20 years at SIECUS, Ms. Rodriguez also served as Vice President for Education and Training, Director of Information and Education, and School Health Project Coordinator.
Ms. Rodriguez has delivered speeches, workshops, training, and technical assistance, as well as developed resources and publications, focused on the promotion of sexual health and well-being. Combined, they have reached tens of thousands of education and health professionals, policymakers, and parents domestically and internationally. Before joining SIECUS, Ms. Rodriguez was a sexuality educator at the Center for Family Life Education, Planned Parenthood of Greater Northern New Jersey. She has a Masters of Science degree in nonprofit management from the New School University in New York City.
