Who We Are

The funding cycle for this cooperative agreement from the Office of Adolescent Health ended on June 30, 2018. We will not be able to provide webinars and technical assistance during this time. However, we will keep the website running through June 30, 2020 with independent funding and look forward to serving you again if we are able secure additional funding for this important work.

In July 2015, the Office of Adolescent Health awarded JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (JSI) a cooperative agreement to oversee the Adolescent HIV/AIDS Prevention National Resource Center, consisting of the What Works in Youth HIV website and technical assistance for youth-serving programs.

JSI is a health care consulting and research organization dedicated to improving the health of individuals and communities in the United States and around the world. JSI has been committed to the prevention and treatment of HIV since the beginning of the epidemic, working with organizations to develop, implement, and evaluate HIV prevention programs and improve HIV health service delivery for people living with HIV. JSI’s HIV/AIDS portfolio supports clinical care and social service delivery, including capacity building assistance, training and technical assistance; public education and communication campaigns; quality management; needs assessment and service planning; evaluation; and clinical and survey research, with the goal of health equity for all. Headquartered in Boston, JSI has seven other domestic offices and works in 65 countries outside of the U.S.

JSI's What Works In Youth HIV team has expertise in HIV prevention, adolescent health, communications, web design, social media, marketing, and health education. Threespot, JSI’s web development partner, is an interactive agency founded over 16 years ago. Threespot believes that its work should have a positive impact on the world and helps organizations to inform the public, enrich life and culture, save lives, change public policy, and create social change.

We are dedicated to achieving the goals of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy by increasing youth-serving providers' access to the tools they need to address HIV in their communities.
